I'm starting this blog to see if there are any other women out there who'd like to talk about issues that we face as women who have a desire to be Godly.
I don't believe any of us is perfect; I don't think we can earn our way into heaven, or that we're saved by works. But I do believe that if we have a relationship with Jesus Christ, the desire of our hearts will be to please and glorify Him in everything we do.
I'd like to hear from other women:
What issues you think are important for Christian women.
What things you struggle with as a Christian woman.
Ways we can strengthen and encourage each other to follow Christ more faithfully.
And...any other ideas you have about helping each other be more Christlike.
I'd like to start the discussion with the issue of modesty.
I know there are groups that believe very extreme things about how a Christian woman should dress. I am not of that persuasion, but I do believe Christian women should be careful in how they present themselves.
It may seem ridiculous in this culture of baring all. How do you feel about all this? And what do you believe Scripture has to say about modesty?
